About the role
Are you passionate about privacy data governance and making a strategic impact As the Senior Manager Information Governance & Privacy youll lead the development and implementation of frameworks that shape how Victoria University manages and protects its data. Youll be the designated Privacy Officer providing expert advice responding to privacy enquiries and driving continuous improvement across the University. This is a high-impact role that works across diverse teamsincluding Indigenous unitsto embed best practices and uphold compliance with privacy legislation.
About the person
Were looking for someone with extensive experience in privacy data governance and strategic leadership. Youll likely come from a background in higher education government or a complex organisational environment. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator a relationship builder and a change leader who thrives in cross-functional collaboration. A deep understanding of privacy legislation and Indigenous Data Sovereignty is essential along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide initiatives. If youre passionate about shaping a culture of accountability and excellence in data governance this role is for you.
