Guardian Hospice Care a leading home care services provider in Gauteng is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a caregiver you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our clients in their homes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing grooming and dressing

- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules

- Monitor and record clients health and well-being

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs

- Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with laundry

- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients

- Accompany clients to appointments and outings

- Communicate effectively with clients their families and healthcare professionals

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred Will be an added advantage

- Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Reliable and trustworthy

- First aid and CPR certification is a plus

Contract details:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The caregiver will work a set schedule which may include weekends and holidays and may also be required to work occasional overtime hours.
