Schedule:

Week 1 (Days):

  • Sunday Monday Tuesday 6:30 AM 6:30 PM

  • Every other Saturday 6:30 AM 6:30 PM

Week 2 (Days):

  • Wednesday Thursday Friday 6:30 AM 6:30 PM

  • Every other Saturday 6:30 AM 6:30 PM

Salary: 45.32$/hour

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Prepare and produce all components required for printing and finishing in compliance with quality deadlines customer expectations and company standards.

  • Plate proof and obtain sign-off for all physical and virtual jobs prior to sending them to press.

  • Check job ticket information download files and schematics and create process plans to be screened and proofed.

  • Check output to plate and ensure all prepress machines are operating properly.

  • Resolve inquiries from both internal and external customers.

  • Maintain high-quality standards with minimal errors while meeting production schedules and KPI requirements.

  • Demonstrate effective communication both written and verbal in a professional and respectful manner.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members contributing to team success and supporting common goals.

  • Provide leadership and coaching to peers proactively resolving conflicts.

  • Adapt to changing production conditions procedures and workloads.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support 5S workplace organization standards.

  • Work safely follow all Health & Safety policies use required PPE and report hazards.

  • Be available for 12-hour or 8-hour shifts including nights and weekends with flexibility for overtime as required.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Completion of Grade 12 (preferred).

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Arts (asset).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the printing industry (including apprenticeship training).

  • Strong understanding of prepress techniques printing processes products and equipment.

  • Experience with computer programs such as Prinergy Fetch (FTP) Job Assistant EAE (KBA Software) Print Dispo Arkitex Globetek and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • WHMIS certification.

  • Film assembly knowledge (asset).

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • At least 6 months in role required to gain full knowledge and understanding of the position.

  • First Aid certificate (asset).
