Are you a passionate and driven leader seeking your next high-impact challenge TheAudience Extension (Audex) team is looking for a Team Leader to help drive one of Taboolas most strategic growth areas enabling advertisers to reach new audiences beyond our owned-and-operated network.
About the Opportunity
Imagine empowering Taboolas advertisers to extend their reach to premium placements in the open web and even in closed gardens. This is the core mission of the Audex team - tapping into massive new revenue streams by buying indirect inventory via RTB all while optimizing at scale for performance and profitability.
Who Were Looking For (Youre someone who):

- Has exceptional analytical skills and a deep technical foundation

To thrive in this role youll need:
- 2 years of experience managing engineers or leading large-scale projects
- 4 years of hands-on backend development in Java or a similar OOP language
- Proven track record in designing and building large-scale distributed systems
- Solid CS fundamentals: object-oriented design data structures multi-threaded programming
- Experience with SQL NoSQL and Big Data tools
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
How youll make an impact:
As aTeam Leader for Audience Extension (Audex) youll bring value by:
- Lead a team of highly skilled backend engineers building infrastructure and features used by thousands of sites and over 1.4 billion users globally
- Drive strategic integrations with off-network and closed-garden environments
- Work closely with key stakeholders across Product Business and PS (Professional Services) to align bidder-related initiatives and ensure end-to-end execution
- Own and scale systems handling 500K requests per second generating over 100TB of new data daily
- Utilize a cutting-edge tech stack including Java 8 Spring Reactor Core Spark Cassandra Kafka MySQL Vertica Kubernetes Grafana Tableau and more
- Collaborate with experienced tech leads engineers and product managers to define the teams roadmap and technical vision
- Foster a culture of growth accountability and continuous improvement - with a strong focus on team productivity and personal development
