Job Summary

At Coinford we deliver major groundwork and concrete frame projects across the UK. Were now hiring skilled deep drainage groundworkers to join our team and help deliver safe high-quality installations on large-scale construction sites.

What Youll Do

Carry out deep drainage works including laying concrete clay and plastic pipes of all sizes
Set up and use trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes safely
Install drainage accurately using pipe lasers
Construct and bench manholes to a high standard
Dig and concrete footings where required
Manage groundwater including pump setup and operation
Backfill trenches safely and to specification
Read and interpret levels and technical drawings
Perform daily plant safety inspections (Dumpers/Rollers) and report service needs
Work safely around live services applying service-avoidance techniques

What Were Looking For

Valid CSCS Card
Strong experience indeep drainage installation
Competence in using pipe lasers and trench support systems
Ability to read drawings and deliver work to spec
Proactive safety-conscious and able to manage time effectively

Desirable Skills & Experience

5 years groundworks or deep drainage experience
Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets* (Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers)
Experience working as part of or leading a drainage gang
