Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Tooling design Assembly processing planning & execution cost estimating systems planning layout standards releasing etc. and requires the coordination of all related party.
- Ensuring optimum utilization of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas such as lineside storage areas etc.
- Coordinating the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture or assembly of quality parts.
- May also be responsible for the acquisition of new product and maintaining for a facility; disposition of surplus machines; investigation and negotiation of contracts.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to planning and execute new process toolingand technology for build machine.
- Implement engineering change notice assess whether the capacity of the area is met initiate and implement all changes. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of changes to ensure the smooth production.
- Response for improvement project intermof process safety quality velocityand cost.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years work experiences in manufacturing process.
- Background of manufacturing environment and CAD software.
- Knowledge of assembly and/or fabrication manufacturing procedures.
- Good command of both spoken and writenin English.
- Good project management skil.
- Experienced in automobile or heavy machining industry would be added advantage.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Strong fundamentals in manufacturing concepts.
- Knowledge of the planning system manufacturing operations facilities methodsand tooling required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures planning processes work standards relative to manufacturing and inspection.
- Strong collaborative interpersonal problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Pro-active thinking and good attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential to develop a cooperative working relationship with others both inside and outside the organization.
- Able to read drawing understand GD&T.
- Computer program skilled require: Office CAD softwareAutoCAD Inventor Teamcenter will be an advantage.
Additional Information
Full Time Onsite
Working Hours: Monday Friday 07:00 am. 04:30 pm.
Work location: Caterpillar (Thailand) Ltd. WHA Industrial Land Rayong
