Job Summary
Under the direction of the School Nurse this position is responsible for implementation of a students individual health plan nursing treatments health education evaluation health screening services medication administration and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with district policies and procedures determined by the School Nurse.
- Provides professional nursing care to one or more students with complex health needs.
- Provides assessment and evaluation of student health care needs.
- Provide direct academic support toward IEP goals and objectives as directed by classroom teachers or resource teachers.
