Job Summary
QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
A fast-growing Food Manufacturing/Packaging and Distributing Company located in Oakland Park Fl. is looking for a professional with some experience working in the Quality Control environment in the food business. This is a Temporary to Permanent position.
In this role the QA Inspector needs to make sure that the production departments have carried out required steps to produce a product that meets customers requirements from the point of view of:
Safety (from a manufacturing and consumer stand point).
Quality (ensure customer expectations are met
Coaching (as the face of Quality the factory coach operators and Supervisors)
Vigilance (Report to the Quality Manager any issues that are observed).
FUNCTIONS:
Ensure that specifications are being used correctly and respected by production employees.
Audit the testing and inspection activities for method compliance.
Audit production to ensure that coding requirements are being followed.
Conduct random product quality audits following appropriate procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
English knowledge (perfect)
Minimum 2 years previous experience in Quality Control preferable for a food company.
Computer knowledge (Intermediate)
Associate Degree or High School complete.
