Job Description
Jabil is looking to hire an Inventory Control Associate for its Brandywine location in West Chester PA.
How will you make an impactA Inventory Control Associate with Jabil helps to handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in the manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
What will you do
Own all material movement to stock including dock to stock material requisition order (MRO) floor returns and system transactions done by scanner or computer.
Receive purchased materials/ services from shipping companies. Ensure all corresponding documentation is correct.
Assist in loading and unloading deliveries/pickups.
Distribute materials/product/tooling to appropriate areas.
Record all necessary transactions in SAP
Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to ones job and maintain the highest levels of professionalism ethics and compliance at all times.
Issue all material from stock including transfers kits manual pulls highly marketable parts (HMP) and system transactions done by scanner or computer.
Ensure accuracy by performing all transactions correctly and verifying whenever necessary.
Cycle count whenever necessary.
Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
How will you get here
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
At least 1 year of experience working in an Inventory Control department is preferred.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Products and SAP experience preferred.
Experience with driving forklifts is strongly preferred.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
Strong communicator both verbal and written.
