Job Summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Groupis a family-owned aged care provider operating 39 residential aged care homes with in-home and community care programs in WA ACT and NSW. We are looking for a driven and passionate BI Developer to join our corporate team located in West Perth on a full-time basis.

About the role

As a BI Developer you will be responsible for designing building and optimising dataflows and pipelines to ensure the efficient and reliable ingestion of data from a variety of systems. Youll develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses within Microsoft Fabric applying best-practice medallion architecture to deliver scalable and trusted solutions.

Aged care is a dynamic sector governed by strict and continually evolving standards. As one of Australias leading providers this role is vital in ensuring we harness insightful and actionable workforce clinical and financial data to inform the best possible decisions.

What youll bring

  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organised detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Power Query (M) for data preparation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Power BI for dataset modelling DAX calculations and report building.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (dataflows pipelines lakehouses warehouses).
  • Practical experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts data modelling (dimensional/star schema) and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Factory Databricks or Synapse.
  • Experience with data governance security and compliance frameworks.
