Enza Zaden is a leading global seed company specializing in the development and production of high-quality vegetable varieties. We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Global Regulatory Affairs team.

Make a difference as Regulatory Affairs Specialist
As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist you will monitor and evaluate regulatory changes identify necessary actions and initiate the implementation process within the company. Your key responsibilities include:
Carry out legal analysis of EU legislation affecting the business and prepare policy briefs autonomously;
Track and analyze EU policy developments and ensure strategic communication of insights to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of tactical and strategic actions to ensure freedom to operate for Enza Zaden and its subsidiaries worldwide and engage with third parties in matters of regulatory and policy nature;
Prepare and deliver clear reports and summaries to keep internal and external stakeholders informed of key regulatory developments;
Prepare reactions to (inter-)national regulations for lobbying purposes.
You will be part of our Global Regulatory Affairs department and report directly to the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Crop Protection and Bio Development. Your key internal stakeholders are colleagues in the Seed Operations and R&D Departments worldwide.
What you bring as a future colleague
A completed Masters degree preferably in Law & Regulatory Affairs;
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of regulatory affairs or dealing with procedures protocols laws and regulations import and export (this is an advantage) or other work experience that fits well with this position;
An expert in EU legislation with a track record monitoring and engaging with the EU legislative process;
Fluency in English; Dutch or other languages are an advantage;
Strong ability to interpret legal and scientific texts;
Excellent organisational communication and planning skills;
An eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
You are a strong communicator who can work independently and under pressure. You involve others in decision-making and contribute to a growing team. We welcome both junior and senior candidates for this role.
