Ironworker/Weld Float

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating a piranha ironworker machine to cut materials to specified dimensions and angles
• Operating a vertical band saw
• Inspecting/Leak Testing hydraulic tanks for leaks/weld faults
• Follow a detailed work instruction for pressure testing
• Complete inspection sheets
• Maintain a clean/safe work environment
• Complete operator PMs daily
• Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
• Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to read tape measures and protractors
• Position may require bending kneeling and stooping
• Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors and chemicals
• Must be able to use grinder power tools
• Ability to work in high paced environment
• Ability to use measuring devices for product inspection
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Punctual and dependable attendance record
• Work ethic - A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines
