737 MAX Development Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer (Mid-Level, Senior, or Principal)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking multiple 737 MAX Development Airworthiness and Regulatory Engineer (Mid-Level Senior or Principal) to join our Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level Senior and Principal 737 MAX Development Airworthiness and Regulatory Engineers. These positions are in Everett WA and Renton WA.

Position responsibilities:

• Coordinating the development of issue papers

• Assessing certification plans Developing certification approaches/strategies with the Federal Aviation Authorities (FAA) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical focal across the enterprise

• Assisting in the development of technical briefs for domestic and foreign regulators Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

• Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces

• Performs analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success

• Develops the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes

• Resolves cross-functional technical issues

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Everett WA or Renton WA sites.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science

• Experience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspects

• Experience with regulatory agencies procedures and process

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Senior: 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Principal: 10 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge of integration verification and certification processes

• Knowledge of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)

Summary Pay Range (Senior): $128350 - $173650
