The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a 2nd Shift Production/Inventory Coordinator Team Lead (Level C) to support the 787 Final Assembly Fulfillment team based in North Charleston South Carolina.
The Team Leader will be responsible for pre-shift planning crew meetings team status updates labor loss production control training process improvement and Lean/BPS. The selected candidate must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.
Position Responsibilities:
Processes & moves production and other materials into and out of storage production and other locations to support complex production product support activities flight test etc.
Monitors and analyzes work in process
Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems
Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability
Analyzes problems and resolves/reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy
Coordinates with various functions to set priorities expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
Creates/updates standard work documents
Leads trains and coaches employees on the use of standard work documents and processes
Manages factory major aircraft section preparation in support of manufacturing build plan
Validates work performed by team to ensure compliance to all company policies to include Regulatory Safety and Quality requirements
Coordinates with Enterprise organizations in support of 787 program Supply Chain activities worldwide
Leads and coordinates BSC site shipping activities and communicates status to stakeholders
Collaborates and maintains professional relationships with peer Team Leads in cross-functional organizations
Manages and reports process improvements project status to team management and executive leadership
Maintains applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience as required
Works under limited supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Forklift license or ability to obtain
Ability to lift push and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to walk stand climb and descend stairs; bend and lift items; package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
1 years of Supply Chain Manufacturing/Operations or Quality experience
1 years of experience using MS Office applications like Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Willingness to work 2nd shift
Willingness to work overtime to include weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Ability to multi-task; flexible and adaptable
Ability to train others learn new things and solve complex problems
Experience collaborating & communicating with various cross-functional teams (e.g. customers engineering manufacturing)
Experience working with ERPLN
Shift:
This position is 2nd shift however must be willing to work a variable shift based on business needs.
