Technica Engineering is a technology company specialized in the development validation and verification of software and electronic solutions at the automotive sector. With a strong focus on technologies like Automotive Ethernet and the development of ECUS we bring technical consulting services in areas like ADAS on-board networks getaways and comfort and security functions

We are currently offering you a position as a Automotive Ethernet Test Engineer in Cibersecurity with permanent employment in Vigo Spain. The ideal applicant has a background in programming telecommunications or electronics and has already experience in the daily tasks related with testing or with concept designing.

What are we looking for

• Professional experience in automotive telecommunications or software development industry.

• Engineering background (Preferable Telecommunications or Computer Science)

• To have at least a B2 English level.

Nice to have:

• Expertise in the field of cibersecurity functions and/or protocols e.g. Secure Boot Certificates IPsec MACsec TLS ...

• Good OO programming skills in Python C or C #.

• Good understanding of the technical development processes for embedded software development vehicle development and testing.

• ISTQB Certification is desired.

What will your tasks be

• Analysis of the requirement specifications and design specifications of our customers in the automotive industry.

• Test planning definition and implementation of test concepts and test cases for embedded systems in the vehicle.

• Commissioning and implementation of ECU tests on the HIL and PIL simulation.

• Development of automated test cases and test frameworks.

• Planning and implementation of embedded system and component tests with regard to specifications.

• Use of Technica Engineerings own products as test tools.
