Requirements for this Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) job

To thrive as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) at Southwest Health System Inc. you will need a diverse skill set that ensures exceptional patient care and smooth clinic operations. A high school diploma or equivalent is essential along with a current CCMA license and BLS certification.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

CCMA Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certificate (required) within 3 months of hire.
Current BLS certification.
One year prior medical assisting preferred.

Language Skills:

Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to read analyze and interpret medical data and professional journals.
Ability to understand and use electronic medical record software.
Ability to listen and understand patient questions and communicate complex information accurately and understandably.
