About the Role
We are seeking skilled Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Mechanics to join our team. This role involves the installation assembly and maintenance of sheet metal ductwork for commercial HVAC systems. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with various types of duct systems be able to read and interpret blueprints and follow safety and code requirements on site.
Responsibilities
Fabricate assemble and install sheet metal duct systems for commercial HVAC projects.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and specifications.
Measure cut and fit ductwork using hand tools power tools and machinery.
Secure ductwork and related components to building structures.
Inspect and test installed systems to ensure proper function and compliance with safety codes.
Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Duct Mechanic in commercial HVAC.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical plans.
Proficiency in using sheet metal tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems ductwork types and installation practices.
OSHA certification preferred.
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required.
