The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Trade Service Operations Governance and Billing responsibilities to include: (a) manage administrative static data and workflow priorities; (b) ensure satisfactorily fulfill of daily processing requirements in Trade processing system; (c) assist in maintaining workflow management and quality control functions; (d) identify and resolve operational issues and provide technical support as needed; (e) manage high volume customer database and (f) Standby Letter of Credit fee billing activities and accounts reconciliation to support all customers; (g) Assist in ongoing Trade Services Operations governance routines
Responsibilities:
Handle simultaneous requests including on-boarding new customers performing modifications and updates.
Improve and streamline the on-boarding process Standby Letter of Credit fees collection (billing and receivable reconciliation) and end of day reconciliation.
Verify the accuracy of information provided in the workflow request.
Present complex issues in a simple and straightforward manner to internal clients.
Participation in projects and governance routines.
Work with business users in the design and analysis phase to ensure coverage and quality for customer data; participate in developing test scripts and conducting system testing
Reporting/Reconciliation:
Support Trade Services Operations reports for daily weekly and monthly processes.
Build ad-hoc reports on customer data for various departments.
Maintain and ensure compliance with department procedures and bank policies; engage in opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes
Maintain data accuracy by reconciling data comparison reports.
Work with Risk Audit and Compliance on Operational Governance matters assisting in identifying and remediating process and procedural gaps.
Requirements:
Understanding of operations business activities and compliance/risk
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Strong time management prioritization organization and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and end user tools such as MS Excel.
Desired:
Strong knowledge of Letter of Credit products
Knowledge of Syndicated/Agent deals facilities and commitments
2 years experience at a financial institution
Knowledge of KYC/AML policy
The typical base pay range for this role is between $68K - $87K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
