Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Developer

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Developer to join the team in Tukwila WA or Hazelwood MO.

This individual will join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Classified Cloud Platform team and play a pivotal role in enabling Classified Cloud Platforms at Boeing ensuring that our systems meet the highest security standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design development testing deployment configuration and maintenance of infrastructure software and components in Azure Cloud ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals

• Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud Architects and Cybersecurity compliance teams

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)

• Implement and operationalize Policy-as-Code using tools such as Azure Policy OPA/Gatekeeper and Rego

• Support the alignment of use cases and objectives with architectural standards and security requirements collaborating with team members to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle

• Execute against defined guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations including requirements in support of Risk Management Framework

• Assist in the research and analysis of issues related to application integration and performance providing actionable recommendations and supporting the resolution process as needed

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• 3 years of experience with Azure cloud platform and infrastructure as code (e.g. Bicep or ARM)

• 3 years of experience with Policy As Code (Azure Policy OPA/Gatekeeper Rego or equivalent)

• 3 years of experience developing Python and Ansible scripts for automation

• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active CompTIA Security Certification

• 3 years of experience working in classified environments

• 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• 3 years of experience working with Azure DevOps Gitlab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins or related

• 3 years of experience working with Security frameworks and standards (National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 Risk Management Framework)

• 3 years of experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST)/Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)/Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools and automated remediation in pipelines

• 3 years of experience of relevant DevOps/Cloud/Security Engineering

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure (Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Identify and Access Management (IAM) networking logging)

• 3 years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration

• 2 years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
