Job Description
Position Title: Pharmacist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5x8s (primarily 3:00 PM 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM 5:00 PM with occasional 4:00 PM 12:00 AM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Pay Range: $75 $80 per hour ($3000 $3200 weekly)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth MA.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dispense and oversee medications in line with regulatory and hospital guidelines.
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy dosage drug interactions and clinical appropriateness.
- Compound pharmaceuticals including IV admixtures TPN and specialized preparations.
- Ensure proper labeling storage and documentation of all medications.
- Provide accurate drug information and guidance to physicians nurses and allied health professionals.
- Manage and control medication distribution to patient care units and other authorized areas.
- Supervise mentor and assign duties to pharmacy support staff.
- Deliver clinical information order-entry support and after-hours coverage as required.
- Maintain knowledge of new pharmaceutical products and industry advancements.
- Uphold service excellence standards for patients families and staff.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
- Current and active Pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices regulations and standards.
- Proficiency with pharmacy systems equipment and technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
