Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5x8s (primarily 3:00 PM 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM 5:00 PM with occasional 4:00 PM 12:00 AM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Pay Range: $75 $80 per hour ($3000 $3200 weekly)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth MA.

Responsibilities

Prepare dispense and oversee medications in line with regulatory and hospital guidelines.
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy dosage drug interactions and clinical appropriateness.
Compound pharmaceuticals including IV admixtures TPN and specialized preparations.
Ensure proper labeling storage and documentation of all medications.
Provide accurate drug information and guidance to physicians nurses and allied health professionals.
Manage and control medication distribution to patient care units and other authorized areas.
Supervise mentor and assign duties to pharmacy support staff.
Deliver clinical information order-entry support and after-hours coverage as required.
Maintain knowledge of new pharmaceutical products and industry advancements.
Uphold service excellence standards for patients families and staff.
Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
Current and active Pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices regulations and standards.
Proficiency with pharmacy systems equipment and technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
