Job Summary
Hiring Opportunity: Mentor Ohio
Our Client is looking to hire a CNC Machine Operator to join their team in Mentor! Our Client is a leader in creating re-useable that securely connects electrical wires using a screw mechanism.
The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for adjusting machines to keep parts in tolerance loading the machine and maintaining the machine.
Job Requirements:
- Experience reading blueprints
- Experience drilling and Machining
- CNC machine operation experience
- Multiple year of experience using drills and taps
-Computer literacy as there is extensive use of proprietary software
-Read and understand blueprints related to products being received
-Use and understand standard measuring devices and equipment as required in written instructions ( Calipers micrometers pitch micrometers hardness testers thread gages and various specialized hand gages as well as comparators
- Understand quality requirements
-Pass all related ISO Training within the first month
- Ability to walk at least half a mile for day
- Be able to stand for at least 6 hours a day
-Ability to do two handed operations including typing and routine lifting/moving of 35 pound bars & buckets
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Job Responsibilities:
- Check Pieces to the quality standards and dump a 4lb basket
-Adjust the machines as required to keep the parts in tolerance
-Change tooling as needed
-Computer checks at required on the QC procedure documents
- Load the Machine
- Maintain the machine in good working order
- Tumble parts for burrs and eliminating chips
-Place parts on the skid
- Take the parts to QC when the skid id full
-Lifting maximum 50 lbs. 1-2 times a week 35 lbs. 4-6 times a day
-Standing for 6 hours a day
Manual dexterity for adjustments and loading of the machine
