Senior Finance Business Partner North Europe

Were hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner to take on a key strategic role within our Northern European Cluster. This individual contributor role is based in Altorf Massy (France) or Namur (Belgium) and supports a business with revenues exceeding $70M. Youll act as a financial advisor to senior leadership working closely with cross-functional teams across the region to drive financial performance and support business decision-making.
Key responsibilities are to lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes for the cluster while also providing meaningful insights into business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. Youll analyze trends enhance financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and partner with stakeholders to guide strategic initiatives. Although this role has no direct reports youll play a critical role in shaping financial strategy and influencing outcomes across the cluster.

Role responsibilities:
Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic business objectives
Analyse financial and operational data identify trends and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
Provide insights on actual performance vs forecast and key drivers for the cluster
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning and decision-making
Close partnership with the commercial team to analyse the performance and generate insights
Prepare and present management reports dashboards and financial presentations for leadership team
Collaborate with business unit to align financial forecasts with operational strategies
Conduct profitability analysis cost control assessments and return on investment (ROI) evaluations
Support investment and business case analysis including risk assessments and recommendations
Ensure compliance with financial regulations policies and reporting requirements
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting reporting and data accuracy
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis
Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning
Work closely with Cluster CEO and HR Business partner on critical strategic initiatives for the cluster
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent experience in accounting finance or related field
More than 10 years of experience in financial planning analysis or a related field
Strong experience with financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Power BI Tableau)
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
Experience in business partnering and working closely with senior stakeholders
Previous experience in a corporate FP&A function or strategic finance role
Experience with ERP systems
