At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a business application consulting generalist at PwC you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis implementation training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms).
- Work on SAP modules such as MM SD FI and HR to deliver technical solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement enhancements using User Exits BADI BAPI and Enhancement Framework.
- Develop SmartForms SAP Scripts and Adobe Forms.
- Support data migration activities using LSMW and BDC techniques.
- Optimize performance of existing ABAP programs and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in SAP upgrades and patching activities.
- Document technical designs and maintain development standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 7-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and data structures.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.
- Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and OData services is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
