Location: Charlotte NC (On-site Must work from the office)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary Range: $42800 - $46780 per year
We are excited to announce an opening for the Entry Level Event Specialist role at our dynamic organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in event planning and management. The Entry Level Event Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our team in the execution of various events ranging from corporate gatherings to promotional activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events such as conferences trade shows and promotional events.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection catering transportation and equipment rentals.
- Manage attendee registrations and maintain accurate participant databases.
- Create event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth operations during events.
- Work closely with vendors to secure necessary materials and services for event success.
- Assist with marketing efforts and promotional activities to boost event attendance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing or related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle unexpected challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
