Job Description
Kickstart your career in sales and technical support with Encon Safety Products! We are seeking a motivated mechanically or electrically inclined individual to join our team as a Sales Solutions Support Representative. This is an entry-level opportunity with hands-on training making it ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong technical background.
Note: This is not an IT position. We are looking for candidates with mechanical electrical or manufacturing knowledge who are eager to apply their skills in a customer-focused sales environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
As a Solutions Support Representative youll:
- Support customers with orders quotes tracking and technical inquiries
- Review customer technical data/specifications to prepare accurate quotes
- Provide value-engineered product solutions that meet client needs
- Work closely with engineering production and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment
- Manage project bids timelines and communication with multiple customers simultaneously
- Maintain accurate data entry in ERP systems (Epicor training provided)
- Handle customer service issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Mechanical electrical or manufacturing background (education training or work experience)
- STEM degree preferred (will consider technical school certificates/diplomas)
- Entry-level applicants encouraged recent grads welcome!
- Basic Excel skills required; ERP or Epicor experience is a plus
- Strong data entry and typing skills (include WPM on resume)
- Excellent communication skills (phone email written)
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
Skills That Stand Out:
- Electrical design or mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with ASME standards
- CAD / AutoCAD experience
- 3D printing or manufacturing exposure
- Project estimation experience
Physical & Technical Requirements:
- Ability to sit stand walk stoop kneel and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
- Close distance and color vision with the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to operate a computer phone copier scanner and related office equipment
- Technical aptitude may be tested
