Position Status: 15-months temporary full-time

Availability: Immediately

Description of the Position:

The Manager Digital Strategy is a key member of the Marketing team driving digital performance and elevating SickKids Foundations online presence.

As Manager Digital Strategy you will drive continuous improvement across web properties and campaigns by turning data-driven insights into action. Youll lead planning and reporting for digital initiatives uphold governance and best practices across channels and work with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-performing campaigns. Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution this role offers the opportunity to shape innovation mentor team members and advance one of Canadas most inspiring causes.

This position reports to the Associate Director Digital Strategy.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to develop and execute strategies for core digital channels including paid search paid social and owned digital placements
    Act as the strategic search lead overseeing SEM campaign execution quarterly updates monthly reviews and performance reporting
  • Develop and oversee a holistic Search Engine and Generative Engine Optimization strategy for and ensure digital governance standards are applied consistently
  • Provide oversight for key digital programs and channels recommending strategies and implementing optimizations
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the execution of digital campaigns and initiatives
  • Lead development and testing of key web experiences
  • Monitor KPIs conduct competitive analyses and research industry trends to identify opportunities benchmarks and best practices
  • Develop digital reporting and dashboards analyze data to provide actionable insights and contribute to annual planning and reforecasting
  • Oversee campaign tracking analytics initiatives GA4 reporting HotJar tracking QR codes Rebrandly link creation and digital tagging standards
  • Support billing and budget processes including invoice processing and program-level budget inputs
  • Develop process documentation lead training sessions and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Act as a digital subject matter expert across the Marketing team advising on best practices governance and innovation

Qualifications:

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure below is an outline of the qualification we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • 5 years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record of developing and optimizing digital programs and paid search campaigns that drive results
  • Knowledge of digital systems including content management search algorithms and ranking variables analytics platforms (GA4 HotJar) and the broader digital media ecosystem
  • Experience managing digital reporting dashboards and translating data into actionable insights
  • Experience developing process documentation and leading training sessions
  • Strong project management skills; highly organized detail-oriented with strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams external vendors and senior stakeholders
  • Passion for continuous learning in a rapidly evolving digital environment with aptitude for adopting new tools systems and platforms
  • Resourceful self-starter with the ability to manage deadlines independently while supporting team and organizational goals

Total Compensation Package:

Hiring Salary Range: $82064.00 $102582.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117971.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation placement on the salaryrange will be based on your years of experience skills and qualifications relevant to the Manager Digital Strategy.

To help you lead in the fight for kids health and to support your health wellness and career growth in addition to competitive compensation we offer a modified benefit package which includes health (drugs paramedical vision coverage) and dental.

Hours: 35-hour work week with a hybrid schedule (3 days remote 2 days on-site) Flexible work options are available.
