Summary of Job Duties:

The Extra Help - Student Affairs Assistant will provide general support and assistance to the Office of Student Affairs. The Student Worker will be responsible for the following duties: Providing general administrative support for programming generating social media content event setups and breakdowns and other duties as assigned. The student hired for this position will be hired to work 5 hours per week. The student must have availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.


Qualifications:

Required Education or Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess many if not all of the following professional qualifications competencies and personal qualities:

  • Upcoming 2L or 3L status and graduating no earlier than May 2026;
  • In good standing with the law school;
  • A demonstrated record of academic achievement professionalism and Bowen community engagement;
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to operate confidentially;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Job Duties:

  • Provide general support and assistance to the Office of Student Affairs;
  • Providing general administrative support for programming generating social media content event setups and breakdowns and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m;
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and demonstrate a high degree of initiative;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
