Were looking for a skilled Communication Specialist to manage our sites internal communications and visual branding. This role leads employee communications oversees facility-wide visual content and coordinates company events. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with strong writing skills and project management experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Internal Communications Develop and manage comprehensive employee communications including newsletters announcements bulletins and urgent updates Create and distribute time-sensitive content related to operations weather alerts overtime schedules and facility events Maintain and update communication boards and digital displays throughout the facility
Visual Communications Management Lead the development and implementation of site-wide visual communication strategies Oversee the approval process for all visual communications ensuring compliance with company standards Manage vendor relationships and coordinate installation of visual materials Maintain brand consistency and quality control across all visual communications
Event Management Plan coordinate and execute employee and community events Manage vendor relationships and event logistics Ensure successful delivery of all event-related communications
Leadership & Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between departments for communication initiatives Present information effectively to large groups during company meetings and events Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Participate in strategic planning for site-wide communication initiatives
Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities Project management and organizational skills Public speaking experience Vendor management expertise Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency in relevant communication tools and software
A day in the life This role directly supports the GM GMA and Operations Team by managing site-wide communications and events. Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing visual communications Managing recognition programs Coordinating onsite events Maintaining brand standards
The ideal candidate is: Detail-oriented and organized Creative and self-motivated Skilled in written and verbal communication Capable of handling confidential information Adaptable to changing priorities
- 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays - Can lift up to 49 pounds stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach - Work 40 hours/week and overtime as required
