Job description:
Conlan Tire is the Southeasts premier Continental Life Cycle dealer. We are the leaders in commercial tire service and retread manufacturing. Position Available:
- Mechanic
- Starting Rate will be $24 to $30 based on experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services - AC Repair Air Brakes Hydraulics etc.
- Perform mobile repair on trucks and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems steering mechanisms wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine transmission and differentials
- Replacing lights
- Tire replacement (mounted inventory)
- Preventative maintenance / running repair / brakes / suspension

Requirements
- Experience on heavy trucks trailers etc. (diagnostic testing hydraulics brakes diesel engine etc.)
- Must have own tools.
- Welding Experience.
- Ability to repair/diagnose all trailer/chassis/container components
- 3-5 years of Light/Medium/Heavy mechanic experience.
- Able to work in varying weather conditions
