We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and on-prem to cloud data-ingestion to join our engineering team. This role involves designing developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for understanding functional requirements creating comprehensive test cases and automating them effectively. The candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and related CI/CD pipelines ensuring high-quality software delivery in a cloud-native environment.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Test Automation
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools like Jmeter Cucumber.
- Develop the automation framework using scripting languages Java Javascript & Python.
- Prepare test setups required for test automation .
- Build reusable components and frameworks for scalable automation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification.
- Write integration and end-to-end tests for APIs services and UI.
- Perform performance security and reliability testing using tools like JMeter
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure testability in design and contribute to best practices in test automation
- Develop utilities and tools to support testing and quality engineering.
Functional Testing
- Understand and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Design comprehensive test cases covering functional integration and edge scenarios.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify acceptance criteria.
- Execute manual test cases for UI API and workflows.
- Perform regression smoke and exploratory testing.
- Log and track defects using tools like Rally ALM
- Analyze test results identify root causes of failures and work with teams to resolve issues.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a STEM major(Science Technology Engineering and Math)
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experiencein test automation and quality engineering CUCUMBER/Selenium
- 3 Years of hands-on experience withAWS cloud servicesand cloud-native applications.
- 2 Years of experienceJava with working knowledge ofPython.
- Experience withCI/CD toolssuch as Jenkins Git etc.
- Strong understanding ofSDLC STLC Agile methodologies andDevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withcontainerized environments(e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Exposure tocloud-based test environmentsand microservices architecture.
- Familiarity withmedical device regulationsandquality systems(if applicable).
- Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
