The Opportunity
This position is responsible for the administration maintenance and support of the organizations IFS Cloud system to ensure smooth business operations. The IFS Administrator must have a customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills as they will collaborate with system users to optimize system functionality and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Administration of IFS including creation and maintenance of system accounts and permissions
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance
- Configure test and deploy IFS patches and upgrades
- Administer regression testing user acceptance testing and coordination of bug fixes
- Document and maintain business process descriptions/flows
- Work with business process owners to help identify potential automations issues and possible courses of action; recommend and implement solutions
- Create functional and technical specifications for customizations and reports
- Customize and/or create new IFS screens lobbies dashboards and reports
- Manage and support the interfaces between IFS and other applications
- Develop and deliver IFS orientation to system users as well as educate users on system functionality and best practices
- Provide technical support training and guidance to end-users to ensure effective system use
- Troubleshoot IFS-related system performance issues including occasional on-call support
- Work closely with partners to resolve issues that cannot be resolved in-house
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as requested or required
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience working with IFS in an administrative role
- 2 years of PL/SQL scripting
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Experience working with multiple business functions such as Sales Engineering Planning Manufacturing Supply Chain and Finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Teams Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels of employees throughout the organization
