JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY OF ROLE
To support the efficient operation of the warehouse by safely operating a Bendi or Pivot Steer forklift truck. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders putting away full pallets from goods-in replenishing pick points and operating powered pallet trucks (PPTs) as necessary.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate Bendi/Pivot Steer forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to order sheets or handheld scanners.
- Put away full pallets from the goods-in area into designated racking locations.
- Replenish pick face stock from storage areas as required.
- Use PPTs (Powered Pallet Trucks) for movement of stock around the warehouse.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Follow all site health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist in stock counts and inventory checks as required

SCOPE OF POSITION
The post holder will be expected to work any hours required in the execution of his/her duties. The role does not have line management responsibility.
LOCATION
This position is located at Zeus Dublin Greenogue Logistics Park Rathcoole Co Dublin
and will require travel to other sites.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Key Skills
- Valid Bendi or Pivot Steer Forklift License (In-date)
- Previous experience operating PPTs (Powered Pallet Trucks)
- Experience in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to targets/KPIs.
- Basic scanner use for inventory management.
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Knowledge and Safety
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as required.
