Up to 27310.50 per annum

Full time Permanent 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northeast Yorkshire and Humber Northern Ireland and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government registered providers tenants landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

Due to a recent promotion we are looking at hiring a Administrator to join our team here in Glasgow. The role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the front line teams processing and inputting information and supporting front line staff to provide an exceptional service. You will have a key role ensuring the back office function runs smoothly to ensure consistent accurate and up to data.

  • Support the administration process to ensure the accurate and timely recording and response to all client service user and company communication.
  • Support the provision of administrative duties to all functions within the regional team.
  • Support processes of requisitions and documents to ensure information on the system is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with the regional teams to ensure client customer and service users receive an exceptional service.

Role Criteria:

  • Background in Administration.
  • Good experience with excel
  • Experience working with vulnerable client groups
  • Experience within Social Housing Sector.
  • Experience of working to deadlines in busy office environment.
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment and dealing with challenging situations.
  • Good time management planning & organisational skills.
  • Good on computerised systems.
  • Good written verbal questioning & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer experience ethos.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

As part of the recruitment process for this role we will carry out a DBS & BPSS check as well as Security Clearance. For these checks to be completed we will require from you the relevant identification including Proof of Address References a valid passport and proof that you have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
