Job Description
Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. May be required to alternate shifts weekends holidays and take call. May be asked to flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s). Performs diagnostic CT assigned radiographer job duties also performs radiographic fluoroscopic surgical and portable radiographic patients clinical history with procedure ensuring information is documented and available for use by the the patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results gain cooperation and minimize and operates imaging equipment image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest respecting patient ability and comfort; immobilizes patient as aseptic technique as necessaryPrepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous basic life support action when patient input for supply and equipment decisions maintains control of inventory and supplies for assigned practical instruction for students and universal protocol standard precautions and appropriate patient principles of patient safety during all aspects of procedures including assisting and transporting and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited radiography program2 years of CT experience requiredCertification and LicensureARRT Radiography registration requiredARRT Computed Tomography registration requiredIEMA-DNS radiography accreditation requiredApproved CPR or BLS certification required
Shift: 12- hour shifts (0& 1000-2230) with every 4th weekend; Holiday rotation; On-Call Rotation
