Physical Therapist Acute Care (Permanent Role)
Location: Margate FL 33063
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Provide skilled and purposeful therapeutic interventions to improve patients functional abilities and quality of life.
- Assess therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and participate in developing and modifying the total plan of care.
- Implement treatments using approved physical therapy techniques and monitor patient responses.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques exercises assistive devices and home care strategies.
- Maintain accurate timely documentation of all services provided in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other members of the care team for integrated patient care.
- Manage daily caseload prioritize patient needs and coordinate assignments and patient handoffs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy (required)
- Licensure: Current Florida Physical Therapist License (or eligibility)
- Certifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Acute Care setting is required
