Job Description
Job Title: Experienced Master A level B level and C level Auto Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a certified Automotive Technician with our GM Dealership with PA Sate Inspections and Emissions License. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with GM vehicles dealership experience and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance. Will consider other OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components including powertrain systems electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize hand tools and machinery effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Align wheels and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed parts used and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear explanations of repairs needed and completed.
- PA State Inspection and Emissions License.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and their components.
- Experience as a service technician with a solid understanding of auto estimating practices.
- Ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
