Technical Program Manager in Orlando FL Onsite only Fulltime
Supplier Program Manager (SPM) to serve as its dedicated embedded representative at supplier location in Florida USA. This individual will be solely responsible for overseeing the design development qualification and production of key actuation systems supporting next-generation aircraft programs of a major OEM.
The SPM will serve as the primary liaison between OEM and Suppliers team ensuring supplier accountability to OEMs technical quality schedule and delivery objectives. This position requires a technically strong leader with a deep understanding of aerospace interiors and a proven track record managing complex supplier relationships.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering systems Engineering or related technical field.
10-15 years of Aerospace engineering experience with at least 10 years in the design engineering and Part 23 certification of aircraft Interiors for business jet Cabin Interiors in serial production (can be TC or STC).
Engineering Management/Leadership
In-depth knowledge and facility of design in CATIA and PLM software for aircraft engineering
In-depth knowledge and experience in Cabin System design and integration including:
Composite design manufacturing and assembly techniques.
Qualification (Do-160 etc) to GAMA publication no.13 (structural qualification for interior monuments)
Monument and Liner Attachment design and qualification considering bonding build-sequence and adjustability for dimensional management.
Sub-component Wiring harness development.
Options and configuration management
Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings specs and requirements.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills in high-stakes supplier-facing environments.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Working knowledge of Engineering Production Supplier and Certification processes within the aviation industry is preferred.
Experience in airplane development.
Knowledge of business aviation industry preferred.
Fundamental understanding of program/project management processes and procedures.
Program and project management certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Demonstrated fluency in project planning software such as Microsoft Project.
Excellent executive presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in an Integrated Product Team to resolve technical business and customer issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners and throughout all levels within an organization. Ability to travel as required
