Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 10

Shift Notes: Facility prefers M-Fr 830-5 but most are requesting 10-hour days which would be 730-6 but they prefer M-F.40 40-Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements: one weekend per month

On-Call Requirements: No Call

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

This position delegates responsibility to the Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient-focused and utilize assessment planning intervention and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards physician orders and governing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• (20%)* Evaluate the patients function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal neurological respiratory and cardiovascular status.
• (20%)* Develop a goal-specific treatment regimen based on assessment data and the patients tolerance to carry out the treatment plan as prescribed.
• (20%)* Submit a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient -signs verbal orders received by the physical therapist assistant as necessary.
• (20%)* Devise a schedule of treatment which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
• (20%)* Educate patient family and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition patient alternatives prognosis and rationale for treatment through forms of rest exercise modalities and other indicated interventions.

• PT Experience - Required
• Pediatric Experience - Required
• BLS (AHA) - Required
• Acute Care Experience - Highly Preferred
