Job Summary
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Planner with a strong background in operational supply chain management to join their team in Cullinan. This is a thrilling opportunity for an operationally savvy Production Planner to drive efficiency by executing daily production schedules optimizing capacity and ensuring data accuracy. If you have a solid understanding of supply chain systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage daily production schedules for all production units.
- Conduct capacity and procurement planning.
- Update and maintain master data daily and monitor forecast variances.
- Generate KPI reports and track adherence to processes.
- Communicate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and implement tactical plans.
- Analyse historical performance and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain or a related field.
- 1-2 years of operational supply chain experience is required.
- FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) experience is an advantage.
- Experience with Production Planning and Barnton software is beneficial.
