UCP Central PA is seeking caring individuals and families who want to make a lasting difference by welcoming an adult with an intellectual disability into their home. Lifesharing isnt just a programits an opportunity to share your household your routines and your family life with someone who will become part of it.

As a Lifesharing Provider you are not only supporting someones daily needsyou are inviting them into your home as a valued family member. You will:

Provide day-to-day care including assistance with personal needs such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting if needed.
Support and encourage participation in family activities hobbies and community outings.
Facilitate medical appointments prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding (if necessary).
Maintain supervision complete required documentation and follow state regulations.

As an independently contracted Lifesharing provider you must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for these independent contractor opportunities must:

Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation
Hold valid vehicle insurance and homeowners/rental insurance
Pass a background check

Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or autism is preferred but NOT required.
