Position Summary
The Physical Security Systems Analyst contributes to the design deployment maintenance and management of security systems on LSUHSC campuses. This includes but is not limited to card access video surveillance visitor management license plate recognition server maintenance end user support and analytics. Incumbent will also be required to perform all necessary tasks associated with installing maintaining and repairing network cabling infrastructure dormitory locks and computers. The position will also require operation of a state vehicle. This position will require lifting and moving heavy objects and involve walking climbing and some crawling and kneeling. Incumbent must be able to interact with LSUHSC employees and vendors in a friendly professional manner. This auxiliary operation is a self supporting service unit that provides essential services to enhance the academic and administrative experience for students faculty staff and visitors to campus.
