As FNICs next Production Agent youll design and deliver tailored risk management programs across Commercial Select Lines (small commercial; < $3000 in agency revenue)and youll nurture a dedicated book of business with proactive white-glove service.
What youll do
Inside Sales (30% of your time)
- Build and work a qualified pipeline: prospect schedule appointments complete applications and deliver compelling sales presentations for small-commercial and personal lines opportunities.
- Partner smart: route larger/complex leads to a Sales Executive/Sales Leader through the proper channels; stay close to the opportunity and client relationship throughout the pipeline.
- Design and implement risk management programs directing the full range of FNIC resources for each client.
- Be the clients advocate: coordinate resolution of claim/coverage questions appraisals and auditskeeping clients fully informed.
- Handle the business side: arrange payment terms in line with agency credit and collections policies.
- Stay competitive: keep current on market trends and leverage agency selling aids.
- De-risk the details: review client contracts advise on endorsements/coverage modifications for compliance and work to eliminate gaps that could create E&O exposure.
- Show up in the community: represent FNIC at professional and community events.
Servicing (70% of your time)
- Own your book end-to-end: manage new business and renewals per agency procedures; negotiate terms and conditions; review quotes prepare proposals and bind coverage.
- Execute flawlessly: prepare proposals; issue certificates and auto ID cards; order/process endorsements audits binders; invoice premium transactions promptly.
- Be responsive: handle client questions quickly and thoroughly; communicate clearly with clients carriers and the FNIC team.
- Run a tight ship: maintain complete accurate electronic files and fully utilize the agency management system in your daily workflow.
- Deliver quality: prioritize to meet service standards; request help when needed; complete quality reviews and follow agency/department procedures.
- Build carrier relationships: meet regularly and maintain effective working relationships with company representatives.
- Safeguard data: protect confidentiality at all times including Protected Health Information (PHI); follow safety security and quality requirements.
- Keep learning: pursue continuing education via newsletters seminars bulletins trade publications and other opportunities.

Requirements
Must-haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
- Valid Drivers License
- Resident Property & Casualty Agents license and/or Life & Health Agents license
- 5 years of professional experience (with 3 years in insurance preferred)
- Clear confident communicationwritten and verbal
- Strong organization and follow-through; dependable regular attendance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel and agency automation software (Applied Epic preferred); comfort with standard office technology
- Commitment to confidentiality compliance safety and working within established procedures
- Collaborative relationship-builder across clients carriers and teammates
- Ability to work on-site in Alliance NE at least 3 days/week
Nice-to-haves
- Professional designations such as CIC CPCU AAI CRIS AU
- Experience reviewing contracts and advising on coverage implications
- Ability to teach and mentor others in account servicing workflows
- Background in small Commercial Insurance lines
