JOB TITLE: Truck Driver New Boston TX
Company: Leisnoi Diversified Services Inc.
Location: Texarkana Texas Red River Army Depot
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time Temporary
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt
Position Summary
Generally expected to work as a valued member of the shipping receiving and remediation operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Operate company owned and leased trucks over 5 tons to facilitate shipping receiving and remediation operations
- Operate trucks for the delivery pickup and relocation of products and material
- Perform required before- during- and after-operation equipment checks and provide required documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs
- Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
Required Skills Knowledge and Training
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
- CDL is preferred but not required for this position
- 1 or more year(s) experience as truck driver
- Valid OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training certification (or 8 hour refresher) required
Physical Demands
- Requires prolonged sitting driving and MHE operations
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold
