MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the foundational Finance leader for Europe. Stand up and run core finance operations for EP Cube across the EU: design and implement finance processes ensure correct invoicing manage credit in partnership with Group Credit drive monthly reporting as part of the wider group and lead the ERP setup/configuration for Finance (ordertocash procuretopay recordtoreport). Support the annual operating plan (AOP) by building the planning process and calendar and coordinating inputswhile not being accountable for strategic profitability guidance. The role reports directly to the Global Director Finance.

  • Finance Operations - Design & document EU finance processes & controls establish monthly closing compliance & audits
  • Invoicing & Credit (Order-to-Cash) - Ensure correct & timely invoicing manage Credit partner with Order Fulfilment
  • Procure to Pay & Record to Report- Oversee vendor master data 6 own EU GL integrity
  • Reporting & Group interfaces - Monthly & Quarterly reporting packs for Group & align with Group finance on reporting deadlines and systems
  • ERP & Systems- Lead the EU Finance workstreams for ERP define Master Data standards
  • Annual Operating Plan - Build AOP Processes for Europe & consolidate submissions meeting Group timelines
  • Cross-functional Partnership & Enablement- Work closely with the SCM teams & Credit/Collections
Key Outcomes (What success looks like)
  • Finance operations stood up in Europe with clear policies controls and SLAs (O2C P2P R2R).
  • Accurate ontime invoicing; clean ordertocash handoffs; low billing error rates.
  • Credit discipline in place (limits exposures holds/releases per policy) and improved DSO.
  • Timely accurate monthly reporting to Group (close calendar met; reconciliations complete; no material audit findings).
  • ERP Finance processes configured and adopted; master data/governance in place; high data quality.
  • AOP process (calendar templates workflows) implemented and executed smoothly with EU stakeholders
COMPETENCIES
  • Builder mindset: process design documentation and rollout; bias for action.
  • High attention to detail and control orientation; strong ownership and accountability.
  • Clear concise communicator with nonFinance teams; effective crossfunctional partner.
  • Datadriven organized and comfortable with deadlines and change.
LANGUAGES
  • English must have.
  • German or Dutch strong plus
  • Additional EU language a plus.
LOCATION
  • This role is based in Germany or Netherlands
Your backpack is filled with
  • 7 years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting/Controllership ideally in hardware/energy/renewables or similar.
  • Handson experience with ERP Finance (SAP S/4HANA NetSuite Dynamics 365 or similar) across O2C P2P R2R; strong process design and UAT skills.
  • Solid understanding of credit management invoicing revenue recognition basics VAT and EU compliance.
  • Strong Excel; experience with Power BI or similar for reporting is a plus.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or related; professional certification (e.g. ACCA CPA CMA) a plus.
