Job Summary

Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate skilled reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the Hyannis area to assist with our geriatric aged clients who are in need of support and companionship.

Licensed CNAs with Hospice experience and weekend availability is a plus!!

Some of our cases are Hospice and this does require a licensed CNA and hospice experience.

Also servicing the following areas:

Sandwich

Mashpee

Falmouth

Osterville

Cotuit

Available shifts: 7-Days (depending on our clients request)

Mornings: 3-4-hour shifts ex. 8am-11am 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm

Days: example 9am-4pm

8am-8pm (12-hour)

Overnights: Usually 12-hour shifts

7pm-7am or 8pm-8am

8pm-8am

10pm-7am

Job Description:

Assist with the Activities of Living personal care
Assist with light housekeeping
Encourage walking exercising
Providing stimulating conversation
Activities
Possible transportation to doctors appointments shopping etc.
Encourage fluid intake possible meal prep in accordance with orders/CarePlan
Competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
CNA would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner

Requirements are as follows:

Licensed CNA Certification
CNA Licensure if working with a hospice client
Experienced and comfortable with Hospice medications
2Years experience working with your Certification
Must be kind compassionate reliable and skilled
A reliable car and insured
Clean driving record ability to pass a CORI check
CNA must be energetic and able to work a 12-hour shift
Current TB test QuantiFERON Gold Test or X-ray
Proficient in dementia care
Speak read write the English language clearly and effective communication skills.
You must own a cell phone.
