Join Our Team at SP Industries Now Hiring a Machine Builder
SP Industries located in Hopkins MI is seeking a Machine Builder to join our team. We take pride in delivering exceptional service high-quality products and innovative designs with a steadfast commitment to integrity professionalism and putting our customers first in everything we do.
We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder to join our this hands-on role you will be responsible for assembling wiring installing testing and troubleshooting a variety of electrical and hydraulic systems in accordance with schematics and specifications.
Some key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assemble and wire electrical components including motors PLCs and control boxes.
- Install and integrate hydraulic cylinders hoses and power units per schematics.
- Perform final assembly of waste handling machines meeting quality and production standards.
- Operate forklifts cranes and aerial lifts; follow all safety and LOTO procedures.
- Complete required inspections documentation and collaboration with engineering to improve processes.
What youll bring:
- Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
- Skilled in wiring soldering and mechanical assembly.
- Familiar with PPE LOTO protocols and equipment operation standards.
- Strong attention to detail in quality checks and inventory management.
- Effective communicator with ability to work cross-functionally and document work accurately.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented safety-conscious and capable of working independently while following company standards and operating procedures.
Pay range : $20 - $27 per hour (based on experience)
