Description

As a Repair Technician you will be responsible for conducting end-of-line acceptance tests to ensure units meet engineering and quality control standards by diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing faulty fryer units (gas and electric).

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager this position is based in Shreveport LA*.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Must be able to effectively communicate with all employees.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Must be able to read wiring diagrams.
Ability to set up and follow final test procedures and prepare daily test records.
Be able to effectively communicate to ensure the timely completion of units that meet or exceed quality standards.
Mechanical ability and electrical troubleshooting background.
Have overall knowledge of gas or electric fryers and the various parts.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

3 years assembly experience or equivalent

Skills & Abilities:

Score 70 or better on written test given by Frymaster
Potential to diagnose troubleshoot and repair a single line of fryers.
Quality meets policy requirements.
Attendance meets policy requirements.
Be able to pass a Blueprint course.

Working Conditions:

Works in a temperature-controlled warehouse.
Must be able to stand bend or squat.
Must be willing to work with electricity gas water and oil.
Ability to work mandatory overtime.
