Job Description
NOW HIRING: Warehouse Associate/Driver in Grapevine TX.
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) has an opening for a Warehouse Associate/Driver at our Grapevine Resale Store.
Company Overview
Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE) is a Grapevine Texas based nonprofit relief agency dedicated to providing essential services such as food clothing and financial assistance to those in need. Our mission is rooted in fostering self-sufficiency and community support through collaboration with local churches municipalities and civic organizations.
Ideal Candidates:
- Previous warehouse production or moving experience.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Non-CDL box truck (similar to U-haul) experience is required.
- Must be comfortable working in various temperatures both inside and outside.
- This position is 90% warehouse associate and 10% driving (2 days a week about 1-2 hours).
What youll do:
- Unload donations then sort organize price and tag.
- Stock the store with furniture and merchandise display items for sale.
- Keep the warehouse and stockroom area clean and organized for safety.
- Drive company box truck to pickup furniture from local furniture partner and delivery to resale locations; assist with loading and unloading (Only 2 days per week).
- Assist customers with questions merchandise and transactions.
NOTE: This is a summary of the duties and not a full list. Individual job descriptions will be provided upon hire as well as discussed during the interview process.
What well offer:
- Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday; Sunday and Monday off to reset.
- Hours are set at 10 am - 7 pm.
- Pay - $16.00/hour
- Full time position benefits available after 60 days.
- Sick Vacation Personal Time Holiday Pay.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Must be 21 years or older for insurance bonding.
- REQUIRED: Must have a valid driver license car insurance and have a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- 6 months experience to one year experience.
- REQUIRED: Saturdays are apart of the schedule.
- Experience with nonprofits donation intake or thrift background is a plus!
