Pay Range: $50 $55 per hour ($2000.00 $2200.00 weekly)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical Telemetry team. This role involves providing high-quality evidence-based care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will play a key role in patient monitoring treatment education and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care for medical surgical and telemetry patients.

• Monitor interpret and respond appropriately to telemetry data.

• Safely administer medications and IV therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Provide specialized neurological monitoring for stroke patients (Med 2).

• Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Collaborate with physicians staff and families to optimize outcomes.

• Respond to urgent and emergent patient situations.

• Educate patients and families on conditions treatments and discharge plans.

• Consistently follow infection control safety and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State.

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred.

• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.

• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.

• Excellent critical thinking time management and communication skills.

• Ability to excel in a high-acuity team-based environment.
