How will you make an impact

You will serve as a member of the Cincinnati Supply Chain Leadership Team through the direct leadership of the planning team under Supply Chain including production scheduling demand planning long term capacity planning and the Sales & Operations Planning processes. Performs training performance evaluation and development of employees while serving as the main customer facing contact for Supply Chain. Responsible for the management and successful delivery of all aspects of On Time and In Full and production readiness metrics ensuring revenue and EBITA targets are hit. Participates in establishing strategic plans and objectives making final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensuring effective achievement of departmental objectives.

  • Provides leadership to supply chain organization by leading organizational change; developing staff; encouraging relationships; enabling teams success meeting their development and interpersonal goals; building effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals; driving engagement and crafting a climate where staff is motivated to do their best
  • Identifies and implements departmental process improvement for development and commercial Planners
  • Ensures OTIF metric is met. Coordinates monitoring tracking and improvement actions
  • Leads client order receipt entry and maintenance in SAP from receipt to delivery
  • Ensures maintenance and Material Destruction Order (MDO) process for Work In-Process (WIP) inventory for each client
  • Facilitates client interaction for special requests and projects
  • Selects develops and evaluates staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Works with staff on administrative policies and procedures

How will you get here

Education:

Bachelors degree required; in Supply Chain Engineering or another business or technical field preferred

Experience:

  • Three years leadership experience required
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Previous SAP experience preferred

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Ability to encourage champion innovation collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Formal process improvement or lean six sigma training is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong dedication to internal and external customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet commitments.
  • Ability to analyze data to make sound business decisions and formulate improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Concise and effective written verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of GMP requirements.
  • Organized and able to work independently.
  • Ability to think on your feet and process dynamic schedule changes.
  • Meticulous and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
